Sl. Ox, texturally rich, still vibrant acid. Sherry, hazelnuts, saffron, bruised apple and quince, salty, crushed rock, honey. A gastronomic wine that spoke volumes with food but seemed to lose some luster on its own.

Les Graviers: lovely mineral notes, marked less reduction, smoky, chalky, with peach, cooked Apple notes (light). Medium bodied, good structure and fresh elegant chalky acidity. Good light walnut and almond notes on the finish. So fresh, but layered and complete. Remarkable style. 94

Great nose filled with complex notes of lemon oil, crushed rocks, almonds, mirabelle, daisies, white flowers (on acid!) and apple concentrate, touch smoky, gun Flint. Elegant in the mouth though less compelling than the nose there is an attractive simplicity, juicy mid palate and the mineral weight of the wine builds on the finish.
