It's not like wines made of Riesling or Chardonnay or Chenin blanc. It makes me think of the color blue, and of jumping into cool ocean water. We need Carricante in California.

Etna DOC Bianco Superiore, 2009, 12,5%. Bottle tasted in July 2014. Made with Carricante grapes grown on the edges of Etna volcano, and you can really taste the minerals. Perhaps this wine is not for everyone, but I really like the unusual taste.
