Benanti
Etna Bianco Carricante
Pale straw yellow color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and herb spice notes. On the palate flavors of apple with slight citrus notes and herb spice. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with salty mineral character. Very Nice!

Aug 13th, 2018Crushes rocks, white peach, green almond, fennel fronds, lemon zest and blossoms. Saline, slight smokiness, very mineral. Can taste the sun but feel the elevation of the vineyard, square and structural, not plush or round or easy to understand. Sang with white pizzas

May 12th, 2018Petrichor, ripe apple. White peach (underripe). Austere and self assured; delicately sharp. Developed finish with some more acid, a little bitter almond, and a restatement of ripe fruit.

Nov 25th, 2017Pale straw. Open knit, very clean pear, peach and nectarine aromas, with strong floral undertones. Easygoing and subtle, with flavors of pear, apple, mint and minerals, and a lightly tropical quality. Nicely persistent on the juicy finish. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, August 2019)
