Purple, moderate to high pigment extraction. Black pepper and blackberry aromas and flavors, lots of seed tannins on finish. Layers of flavors, but decant to reveal them.

Solid wine, reasonable price point. Probably drank this a bit young.

Solid QPR, even on a restaurant list. Alluring nose, if hot. Creme de cassis all over.

Fruity and easy drinking. Didn’t pay too much attention to it this time. Mid 20s at lawc. Would get again and taste it with more attention.

Received a shipment from Bedrock this week and dove right in. This Zin made from 80+ year old vines from multiple regions is outstanding, especially at $25. Accessible now, with an almost translucent pinot-like color, lots of dark fruit, and a mellow finish. Faded a bit in the glass. Putting a few away to enjoy again in a couple years.
