Bandol style blend. Well balanced and should drink well for quite a while.

Ode to Lucien Peyraud, the founder of Domaine Tempier and this Bandol Rouge style blend would make him proud. 75% mourvedre, 15% grenache, 10% syrah. Drinking well young for purity of the fruit and the finesse the wine shows, but should develop some serious complexity with several more years in bottle.

Appearance: Dark with purple tones and clear
Nose: Violet just a little, and a little more but can't tell what.
Palate: not cabernet cassis and lots of tannins, full bodied, delicious
Opinion: glad I have one more!

9.0 on night 1. 9.3 on nights 2 & 3. Mostly Mourvèdre / mataro from Evanghelo vineyard.
Some old vine Grenache. Loads of exotic spice on the nose.

Very nice black fruit with a bit of earth. Big taste but not overdone. Nice and complex all the way through.
