Wonderful finding this bottle after forgetting it was there. Still fresh but with the distinct hazelnut notes that come with age. Light gold in color.medium nose with notes of lemon, cream brûlée, hazelnut, green apple and honeysuckle. Medium body, alcohol and acidity. Medium plus finish. Reminds me of a younger R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Gran Reserva.

Deep golden yellow color with aromatic, perfumed floral, spiced citrus, pear nectar, and honey with a hint of wet stone aromas. On the palate it's show surprising weight. It's focused, and well structured showing lively acidity and great mouth feel with melon, spiced orange, tangerine, and honey flavors. Long finish. Blend of 60% semillon from vines in the Monte Rosso vineyard that were planted in 1886 and 40% sauvignon blanc from Kick Ranch; 50% new oak. 2012 Vintage

Zippy, racy and lush all at once. As if it wasn't of this continent. Perfect Christmas brunch wine. Well done @Morgan Twain-Peterson and @Chris Cottrell

My first shot at this, and this bottle can't be correct - opens with a blast of oak, then shifts directly to an oxidized, caramelized hot mess. Curious to try this again from what I hope will be a better bottle...

Nice medium gold in color, touch of metallic oxidation on the nose. Powerful and potent on the tongue. Bone dry and definitely more savory than fruit-oriented. The wine demanded attention and kept pumping its flavor 30 seconds after swallowing. Perhaps more cerebral than pleasurable, but waxy, lanolin notes can pare well with Greek chicken and roasted Greek veggies. Opa!

Seemed the least bedrocky of the lineup but that doesn't mean I didn't like it. Beautifully made.

Palate of lemon, chamomile, definitely vanilla and buttered popcorn. Nose of lemon peel and green apple. Great legs like me

Very interesting. Quite broad and complex on the palate. Impressions of peaches, nuts, and honeysuckle.

2012, like many of Morgan's wine age is a benefit. Pulled from cellar this is one of the better whites I've had in a while.
. Lots of sweet pineapple on nose and palette, oak is nicely ingrained.. Semillion is dominant. Really nice wine.
