Texas Malbec

A very good companion to smoky, salty Texan bbq

Happy New Year to my family in Texas!

Here’s a curveball. It opens up to soaked wet corn notes and evolves to plush red fruit on the palate; good backbone, firm tannins, full bodied, high alcohol, big, bold and yes, (Malbec) is bigger (when made) in Texas.

Making some chicken mushrooms with this malbec. Mmmm.

It's fine. For $10, I'm happy.

Nice dark cherry. Enjoyed it.

Soooo delicious! Rich flavor containing: Coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, ripe plums.

Dark cherry and a bit of earth and coffee notes.

Dry and light, good one!
