Deep ruby red. A little medicinal on the nose with dark berries and woody notes. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Lots of dark fruits both black and red. Long and lingering finish. Needs a bit of time to round out. Drink till 2027.

Pretty amazing! Paired with lamb chops and Mediterranean salad. Nose on the wine is complex. Nice blend of tannins, pepper and fruit. TheCab has softened a bit as the taste profile brings a nicely structured blend of fruit, spice and soft leather. Glad we still have 4 bottles in the cellar!

2001: THIS... this is how wonderful, elegant, and mesmerizing a Napa Cabernet can be! It is clearly a Cali Cabernet in its best form with balanced dark fruit, subtle baking spices, dried herbs, cigar box, dusty leather and fine tannins. A super long finish and lots of life left in this bottle. Drinking beautifully right now. Wish I had more!

Sexy silky smooth tannins resulting in delicious voluptuous mouthfeel. Excellent fruit still with just a slight hint of cinnamon spice. Finish is solid and long, truly amazing and impressive. Finally an American wine that has aged well.

On Crystal Serenity between Barcelona and St. Tropez. Still young, needs time. A little disappointed. Haven’t had a Clone 6 years ago but my memory thinks I liked the previous tastes better.
