Delicious, 2011 ready to drink today. Opened, let it breath for a half hour and enjoyed to the last drop. Shared with another couple, so good I wished I hadn’t. Oops.

Dark blackberries. Slight taste of licorice and coffee bean. Enjoyed the 2011 vintage, but should have aged a bit longer.

Very big and complex; opened almost smokey and with tar - used a by the glass aerator - 30 mins later - wow - big fruit coming through but also smoothing out - still young. Very glad Hestan vineyards recommended I stop by this tasting room. A block or two down from Hestan, almost diagonally across from French Laundry. They are making very good wine here.

Bought this on a trip to Napa. Had not heard of the vineyard previous to our visit, but was impressed at our tasting. Really nice ripe round fruit, balanced body. Not inexpensive, but a worthy spurge
