Bone dry, not quite as jammy as many of the other Lodi zins I've tried, still has some leather and spice notes. Go visit the vineyard if you get the opportunity. The tasting room is in an old bulk barrel. Very cool and the staff was great. — 9 years ago
Nice tight bubbles and straw color. Presents very tart and clean finish. Opened with very high expectations and was fine but I actually prefer some of the Cali sparking that I more typically drink — 9 years ago
Interesting bottle. Got big wood and fruit from the first sip. However, after a glass I really got a port like tasting point. Not bad mind you, but a very concentrated flavor that might not be for everyone. — 9 years ago
Just one of my fav Chards. Granny Smith and sweet citrus. A no miss Chardonnay. — 9 years ago
This was one of those BevMo $.05 deals, a decent value to be sure, but not really distinctive either. Kind of like my review :) — 9 years ago
Very consistently good Chard for the money — 9 years ago
Kick ass weeknight choice if you love sirah — 9 years ago
2008 vintage. Presents black cherry and mellowed tannins. Manages to be both big and smooth. Opened it (for some damn reason) when was getting over a cold so my nose was operating at about 70%. Too bad this wine deserves better. Another Chimney Rock winner — 9 years ago
First rate bottle 'o bubbly. We are usually California-sentric, but decided to get some real champagne for my birthday. Less front end acidity. Nice toasty mid and lengthily finish. Different in a good way. Really enjoyed this one — 9 years ago
