"Bad Ass in a Glass" is quite accurate here. Poured from a double magnum, this was a big wine that had people smiling and buzzing (in every sense of the word!). Globs of dark fruit, silky smooth, a touch sweet, but so well integrated.

Thank you @Martin G Rivard and @Christine for an epic 48 hours and for opening your home last night for the Super Bowl of wine tastings (and for the four different types of grilled cheese sandwiches that magically appeared toward the end of the night!).

While the wines shared last night literally were the best of the best, so too were the folks I had the pleasure of seeing again and meeting for the first time. Thank you all for making last night so memorable. I look forward to staying in touch and sharing a glass (bottle?) with you all again in the near future.

Opened on Thursday and it’s still going, but all things must come to an end. No doubt it would still be big tomorrow. Release was $250.00 if I remember correctly, auctions $130.00.

Head and shoulders above their other bottlings which can be a little over the top IMO. This ones amazing. All of lush attributes of BV, but with more balance and depth. Wowzer. That’s my dog enjoying a can of Sprite in the background if you are interested.

I just cannot end the day with a bad taste in my mouth, 13 realm white just completely let me down, but this will let me sleep peacefully now, I have actually been sitting on this for over a year now believe it or not, just as good as the first bottle

I'll repeat the inscription I left on the double mag which this was served from: Just WOW. This showed gorgeous, silky smooth layers of fruit, spice, and savory, roasted notes.

Ok, @Paul Treadway I stand corrected the shelf Vignes really shine. Picked up an order on my way to Bottlerock. Of course had to taste a bit while I was there.
