Cracking pinot. The nose is reminiscent of Central Otago - darker fruit, spice, and earthy notes, but the palate is fresher, with red fruit coming to the fore. Really good mid palate, and enough fine tannin and acidity to lengthen the finish. Smokey, earthy aftertaste. Really very fine.

May 16th, 2024I’m a fan of Tasmanian Pinot and Bay of Fires never disappoints, ruby coloured with layered berry flavours with some spice and vanilla, smooth integrated tannins all balanced with 13.5% alc, as well as a lingering aftertaste.

May 14th, 2024Light ruby, light bodied, smooth tannins. Nose full of strawberry with layered with notes of vanilla, caramel for after taste. Very excellent choice for AUD 50!
