This was decent. An alluring if slightly uniform nose with dark fruit & mocha notes. Well balanced palate with medium acidity and supple tannings. Reasonably long finish. Great QPR.

Always a good purchase.
Prune juice nose with a bit of pomegranate mixed in,
Medium bodied, with lovely baked pie layers, fresh pie dough, currant filing, hint of lemon zest, with just enough popsicle stick tannin to carry this on.
Always a great purchase.

Boysenberry scone with vanilla.
A delicious nose.

Full flavoured, berry blend, mediums bodied, vanilla edges and citrus overtones. Smooth, and perfectly aged.
Pepper shows itself after some airtime.

An Eric Solomon selection.

Not quite the 94RP that stands on the sticker but say a solid 89p to me. Concentration but not by any means heavy or lacking structure. Bit flat and lacking complexity to be a excellent but worked great with flank steak. Has stuffing to improve so I'd wait 1-2 years to see how it develops. Good qpr.

Evenly concentrated, reflective, translucent garnet red with blue hues. Restrained aroma but complex and ripe; saline, violet, pine, raspberry, coconut and bacon. Medium body, medium acid, low astringency, high prickly heat 14.5%. Flavors are quiet on the palate, Black pepper and alcohol dominate. $16

Fantastic value. On the lighter side of Syrah but easy to drink and paired with multiple food options easily.

Powerful, dark wine. The Grenache adds some red fruited aromatics. This is heavy on delicious, but light on complexity which makes sense with the $15 price tag. Need a good pizza wine, here it is. Unwound are one of my favorite punk bands and Numero Group’s reissue of their catalogue a few years ago is a gift.

A very enjoyable and easy drinking red blend from France. Showing cherries, raspberries, light wood, earth, light vegetables, licorice, spices and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy finish with round tannins. Fruit forward and spicy with mild complexity.

Good right out of the bottle and better after an hour in a decanter.

94 Points Robert Parker. I don't know about that 😂

A blend of 30% Grenache and 70% Syrah.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

88 points.

I challenge you to find a better sub-$15 wine. I'll wait. Incredibly delicious. Everything's in balance. Freshness, acidity, juicy fruit. Buy it by the case.
