100% Sangiovese. Bright garnet color with a slight orange rim. Aromas of sour berry fruit, dried violets, earth and dried herbs. Flavors of sour cherry, raspberry and cranberry fruit, savory spices and dried oregano. Medium length (and very earthy) finish. Crunchy texture and medium acidity and body. Extremely fine tannins. Bright and fresh but lacking in complexity. Better with food.

I enjoyed this much more than the first time I had it. Might have been what I ate with it. Stuffed peppers, and it was a good pairing.
