Nose has recently washed lemon, briney sea spray, cold limestone gravel, nondescript white flowers, cold salt slab and whole walnuts.

Palate has fresh lemon pith, lemon flesh, limestone paste, salty water and crushed shale. Wonderful bottle, acidity and minerality are just amazing. Give this bottle plenty of air and experience it slightly above cellar temperature for happy times.

A fully different experience in comparison to our prior bottle, so yes you can certainly have off bottles of young Champagne. My experiences with oddly showing Champagne, luckily has been limited, maybe one per year or less on average.

Nose has cold citrus peel, Atlantic Ocean breeze, sliced Clementine orange, (light) cut Spring grass and green banana peel.

Palate has green banana peel, almond mouuse, Saccharin-like inner mouth feel but not sweet, lime zest and a medium-heavy limestone/saline finish.

Bubbles disappeared very quickly in the glass, a mild disappointment.

Superbly mineral. Hint of breadiness. So airy. So elegant and juicy. Balanced and fresh. Almost zero fruit. But saline as fuck on the finish. Beautiful. It’s like Champagne air. That saltiness on the finish is something.

A shimmery gold with few bubbles and amazing floral notes on the nose. It’s just so pretty and inviting immediately. Raspberry and wildflowers for days, along with dusty earth and herbs. A bit of melon, a touch of cherry, a scooch of honeycomb. Lovely.

An equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir consisting mostly of the 2017 vintage with 30% of the previous year’s wine. Nice complexity with plenty of depth and character. Mature yet still so very fresh and electric. Sans dosage and incredibly pure throughout.

The fruitiness of the Pinot shines on the palate with blue and red berries. Roasted nuts and green apples. There’s a little spice and oak. The finish is long and robust. Definitely a favorite.

It’s so much fun trying new producers. You never really know what you might find. And baby you can find some gems. A shimmering golden robe infused with nice perlage. Right out of the gate the floral notes pleasantly attack you. Fresh cut grass and slightly toasted nuts. Warm bread and slate. The fruit pokes through with some orange peel.

Equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with zero dosage from the Côte de Sézanne. Primarily 2017 with 30% from the 2016 vintage. You definitely feel the lack of dosage with this racy little thing. Very subtle and contemplative at times, this champagne just lingers in the glass inviting your embrace. Nice balance and structure with precision and tension for days. Lemons and lime combine with red apples and almonds. Finish lasts forever. Stellar, stellar stuff.
