I have had the pleasure of experiencing this vintage a few time and found this time delivered just like the past. Decanted four hours and drank over the next 4+ hours. Classic Bordeaux on the nose with no sings of age. Could this be a 50+ year wine? Red fruit with truffle and Asian spice on the palate. Tannins and acid are nearly perfect with an lingering finish that sails for over a minute. What I find so intriguing is the wine only got better as time went one. Stellar!

Dad brought this one out from his collection! Has aged beautifully!! Notes of blackberry and heavy fruit. Great smell and opened up nicely!

Served blind with the 94 Dominus. 80% of the group confused the two, thankfully I was not one of them. This 86 came from an OWC purchased on release & was extremely youthful, massively structured & tightly wound, less expressive than past btls. Notes of blackberry, cedar, lead pencil & spice. Still needs more time!
