Immediately showy, with lush, ripe aromatics, this Reserva Rioja is a gorgeous wine with good potential for medium-term ageing. Reasonably light on the palate, with generous amounts of red fruit, cigar box, coconut and good acidity, it’s a terrific wine for the money - even if it does finish a little shorter than you’d like.

Had the 2015 in June of 2021. Really enjoyed this one. Got some fruit up front but mostly nice oak throughout and on the finish. Nothing overwhelming just a great wine that went well with beef shish kabobs and polenta. Would buy again n a heartbeat.

Oak that does not overwhelm the vanilla, green apple. Lots of acid when it sits. Drink in the first few hours. Thin like paper and medium finish. A rich meal’s friend.
