This is a pretty big wine, but it's got a great freshness and balance. Just a touch of heat on the finish but well integrated oak. Big black cherry daddy.

This is a pretty big wine. Decanted for three hours and beat it up a bit every hour to try to speed it up. Dark purple in the glass, I got strawberries at first on the nose but now more blueberries which match the flavors on the palate. This is very tannic at this point noticeable mostly on the finish. But it's still a beauty just needs some rest or a longer decant at this point.

Very hard to imagine a youthful wine drinking any better than Barbour 201 3. Beautifully expressive, uber-concentrated and yet structured for a long life. Wow!
