This is a clonal selection and has only been made for the second time they use some barrique made by gamba 350 liters

Castello Banfi- Poggio al Mura 2020- deep ruby coloration some transparency, dark cherry on the nose with leather, toasted oak, vanilla, and forest floor. On the palate, Cherry, vanilla, oak, amarena and toasted oak in the very long finish.

Serious potential. Young and over ripe. Tannins need time to mellow, but the cherry and raspberry are popping. That sunburnt Sangiovese present and accounted for. Light hue, but lingering finish. Has 2-3 pts of growth in time.

Somewhat closed with tanins too much present. Perhaps next year?

Head to head with 1999z I prefer 1999 ania 2012. Great nose. Wow. Cherry red fruit Coca Cola beautiful brunello with depth. I prefer 1999 but awesome
