Fully mature. The nose is complex, funky and earthy with spice. Smells like walking through a winery's caves. Oak, stewed plums, pipe tobacco. Finishes with beautiful bright acidity and cooked cherries. A great example of how quality produced wines will stand the test of time. For sure, it's not what it was 5 years ago, but happy we both are 5 years older and still going 😃

Decanted and gave it 4 hrs of air before digging in. Dark and opaque in the glass. Big shoulders and power in the nose. Ok in the mouth and finish, but not memorable. I just don't find Brunellos as my cup of tea.

Beautiful fragrant nose of fruit and mushrooms, elegant rich cherry flavors with very soft tannins and a lingering finish
