Blend of about 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the rest Merlot & Cabernet Franc, aged in new oak, deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruit, spice, floral and vanilla notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with cedar, vanilla and cacao, nice mouthfeel. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and sweet spicy mineral notes. Very nice, great value!

Deep ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of black cherry, stewed black plum, black currant, ripe blackberry, earth, subtle menthol, tobacco, vanilla, cedar, funky mineral; dry, medium plus acid, smooth medium tannins, high alcohol, full body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, elegant and well balanced, concentrated flavors but not overkill; outstanding

TERRIFIC, FABULOUS, GREAT VALUE! When people come in and ask if we have any sales, the answer is always the same - No, but we have some great values. This has all the goods without the hefty price tag.

Love the story. Wine was a nice balanced experience. Moderate tannins, black cherry throughout.

A nice and balanced glass of wine with depth. Darker fruits, moderate oak influence. Drinks well now.

I had no idea that the Band of Vintners Consortium project was intended to be a continuous project, but after the success of their inaugural 2014 vintage, getting the band back together for the 2015 was probably inevitable. The band's collective insider knowledge of how to source the best Napa fruit was proven with the 2014, and is reiterated with the 2015. While the 2014 seemed evident of Spring Mountain roots, the 2015 leans more towards Rutherford. The dust comes through immediately, and is derived from a mix of cocoa powder, cassis, black cherry, black currant, cranberry and baking spice. The 2015 rivals the quality of 2014, with the advantage of being immediately approachable. An absolutely stellar Napa Cabernet value.

Definitely a solid Napa Cabernet and enjoyable with food and without. The QPR is off the charts on this collaborative effort. To me, I'd like it best in a couple of years but love the mix of red and blue fruits, savory elements and pleasing finish. It should be right up my alley.
