A little thin in the center but very pleased overall. Macerated lingonberry, leather and subtle earthy notes.

Straghtforward, traditional wine with just enough interest to keep inviting another sip. Youthful for a 2004. Took a day to evolve, initially with some funk that seemed to create a VA note. Notes of rose, dusty earth, meat, musk, leather, tart red cherry that evolved to red cherry, Red Plummy to fresh Bing cherry on the palate, more straightforward there, but not in a bad way, but fruit and a bit of leather dominate on the palates. For $25 a great deal for a well made if simple wine
