Saperavi
Decent, #quaffable #wine from #georgia indigenous #grape #saperavi #vintage 2013
Feb 15th, 2015Review for the special Kosher version. This wine needs a lot of air. Even then, it is too acidic to drink. After breathing, it starts with some nice Saperavi flavors although inelegant and rustic. But the finish intrudes with an overwhelming power of strong acid. May the flavors will round out and the pH will rise in 10 years, but it not drinkable now.

Apr 13th, 2023More modern in style then the interesting farmer/homemade Saperavi I had yesterday, but also restrained: light oak, not too much sweetness. Good, fresh berry nose. Nothing interesting but a solid semi-modern quaffer.
