100% Nebbiolo; today it carries the name "Disanfrancesco" due to the (stupid) law change some years ago, which does not permit 2 names on a label anymore.
This is as good as it gets when it comes to a straight Langhe Nebbiolo. From parcels in San Francesco & Fontanazza in La Morra. Very typical for this area. Bright red fruit, a lot of strawberry, dried rose petals, sweet herbs. Beguiling aromas, especially in the nose. The tannins are mellow and will provide some further bottle aging together with the healty acidity and fresh fruit. Affinamento = 12 months in tonneaux (most of it used) 8 months in botti/cask.
Even though you could easily cellar this wine for more time, there is no reason. It's fresh, pure and just so Nebbiolo right now.

this was controlling me. I like that. Gentle control is acceptable but right now I need a firm grip on the shoulders followed by a hard shake that rattles my mind into reality. This = that. Chapstick for my mouth, please, sir?
