An indigenous white from Langhe, I think this is my first time trying Nascetta. In the Nebbiolo dominated Piedmont, that’s not surprising. My Barolo meter is well tuned. My Nascetta palate.... not so.
I’m blown away here, though. This bottle is shockingly sharp with a creamy twist at the end that harmonizes the intense tropical fruits with a (non-sweet) honey glaze.
It’s that moment in the evening when you sit down on the couch after a long productive day. Self satisfied comfort wine.

Another lovely crisp unoaked white wine from Piemonte... similar to Arneis, but with a less bitter finish and a slightly richer mouthfeel. Hard to find, with very few acres of Nascetta planted.
