Rosso del Soprano Red Blend

Since when did Palari make oaky wines?!? (This was still decent, but with a distracting amount of oak, even on night 2.)

Here’s a gem from Sicily, Italy.
Grape Varieties: Predominantly Nerello Mascalese (60%), Nerello Cappuccio and Nocera (35%). Délicieux - epic wild berry, spice and leather characters

Solid pairing for homemade pizza. Tart cherries and a little blast of oak.

Smooth like a supertuscan when cold.

Last meal of 2019 at the counter of A16. Light bodied, fruity, acidic zippy volcanic soil and similar to a pinot. Liked it a lot but not our absolute favorite from A16.

2012 has a Burgundian quality wit deep red fruits and a slight minerality. I would drink this today, enjoy the crispness and fruit.

Elegant, silky structure. Tobacco leaves, leather, red fruits, a bit of “fumé”. Pure pleasure

A delightful, sprightly red, with ripe raisin most prominent but lots of brightness and red fruit on the palate. Lovely tannins, too. A winner.
