Proof that the 2014 vintage in the Langhe is by no means uniform. This is an outstanding wine that is wonderful now and will clearly age for decades.

Powerful Nebbiolo with intense, dark brooding palette and a crunchy long finish. Palette is dried fruit and leather, while nose is black cherry. A wine that is complex and contemplative. Perfect with steak or veal. I would definitely buy this again, especially since it was less expensive than many other Barbarescos. This still has some aging to do, but it was great now.

Glömt lägga in denna pärla. Kraftfullt, potent, bärigt, en del tanniner. Rosigt, lite te.

Delicious. Plenty bright, refined tannins, luscious cherry, tea leaves, and anise. You could wait on this one, but approachable now. As this wine opens up over an hour or two, floral components (acacia, dried violets) become more noticeable. Intensity on the nose increases, tannins soften. Tougher to pair this one... initially goes with any North Italian cuisine, but changes with air.
