Rosso di Montepulciano Sangiovese
Strawberries tart red fruit. Simple but another very easy going wine.

Sep 4th, 2023Dusty cherries and cloves mix with sweet florals and a hint of animal musk as the 2018 Rosso di Montepulciano opens in the glass. This is silky yet cool-toned and pliant, impressing most with its balance of ripe red berries and mineral tension. Its medium-length finale is punctuated by a twang of residual acids and spice. (Eric Guido, Vinous, December 2021)

Light to medium bodied
A waft of dried red delicious apple -
Bright Black cherry skin, Thai basil, wispy little tannins. An easy going Rosso, from a very good producer.

Red cherries, strawberry, vanilla, coconut, fresh tobacco, tomato leaf. Med + acidity, medium tannins. Could almost be mistaken for a Pinot Noir but a little more herbal. The finish is not long, which is to be expected. Not bad for a rosso!
