Medium bodied with ripe cherries, black tea, plums and green olives with a subtle earthiness and underbrush. Fresh, crisp zippy acidity on the finish from the Sangiovese.
This is great value for money.
I would have this with roasted duck.

Loved other wines from Avignonesi, but this was a disappointment. Very dry without much nose or flavor. 12.99 at K&L. Wouldn’t get again.

Dark ruby color with a blend of 50% Sangiovese from Montepulciano and 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon from Cortolo. A great Tuscan expression with earthy notes, leather, and blackberry.
