Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Operated by Jim Clendenen who started winery in 1982. Runway’s first vintage was 2013 & 2015 is great. Limited production from this small vineyard. Aromas of ripe sweet fruit & floral scents, aged in French oak for about 20 months (winery folks indicated only a small amount of new oak was used). On the palate intense fruit flavors of cherry & strawberry, complex subtle spice, well balanced with acidity, great mouthfeel. Fine soft tannins lingering ending. Very nice, less than 250 cases made. Tasting Sample!

2015 vintage. Expressive superripe cherry, local scrub/brush and French oak nose with some tobacco/smoke in the high nose. Light-medium body. Fairly smooth tannins. Nice fruit balance throughout with a little spicy/zesty, mid-palate kick. Overall impression: pretty.

Nice wine after it opens. Big, different style of fruit not usually seen from ABC. Lots of weight on the finish.
