First time tasting this bottling. Very enjoyable, but probably just past its zenith. Quite contemporary for a Spanish Tempranillo. Good fruit profile, with tobacco and herbs. A little iron and singed leaves come along for the ride. Finishes with persistence. A great value.

Thanks to @Ron R I was able to try an older vintage, still needed a 2nd day & 3 hour decant to open up. I think the low scores from others is because they didn’t give it enough air.

Bright red fruit, big oak component, not fully integrated (yet?). Nice wine, if not slightly simple and shallow.
