Celebrating my son’s first #birthday certainly merits the serving of some lovely wine 🍾🍷 What a wonderfully challenging yet humbling year it’s been raising a tiny baby into a little boy with a big heart, a loud laugh, and a captivating smile. I hope and pray today’s celebration is but one of many chapters.
Second time having this ‘08 Chouilly Grand Cru BdB and wow...it was bangin’ this time around. Phenomenal vintage, fantastic wine. So pure, balanced, and seamless.

Feb 3rd, 2019Rich and suave with baked apple, gingerbread & marzipan yet with lemony freshness. A touch of mushroom, too. On the palate broad yet with a core of mineral, juicy acidity. As if this were a great still wine. But the froth & the bubbles are fine and keep on coming. This is complex, elegant and very fine, with 14y old reserve wines.
