Light-hearted in color; nose is sweet with ripe raspberries and lingon berries, mint, and greenish herbacious notes; on the palate are some fruits but lots of minty herbs and eucalyptus, acid levels are high and the finish is kind of bitter. Not faulty but not very well made IMO.

Aug 22nd, 2021Notes of cherry and slight pepper finish. Fruit forward even after being opened for a few hours. Begs for food.

Nov 23rd, 2020Extremely disappointing. I was excited because it’s Argyle for $20 at Trader Joe’s, which is a door open to accessibility. But Trader Joe’s own organic Pinot Noir for $3.99 beats this by a lot. There’s no character here. That said, I feel this way about half of the Argyle pinots anyway.

Nov 15th, 2020Tasty Oregon Pinot Noir.
Oct 19th, 2020Nice balance of cherry and plum fruit, acidity, and tannin. Very slightly more tart than ideal but pairs nicely with a variety of flavors.

Jun 15th, 2020A good “middle of the road” Willamette Valley pinot, neither bad or great, but enjoyable.
