Sunday night's wine is the 2015 Argyle Grower Series Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley Oregon.

The nose has cherry, raspberry, cranberry, clove, vanilla, sassafrass and earth.

On the palate there is cherry, red raspberry, cranberry, cola, oak and a nice earthy note.

This is a light to medium bodied wine with medium + acidity and medium firm tannins that leads to medium finish. An easy drinker that would go well with a burger, Chinese or a pizza. Have a great weekend and let's make it a safe eventful one. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷

Since 1987, winemaker Rollin Soles and viticulturist Allen Holstein have teamed up to produce wines from low-yielding vines, receiving11 Wine Spectator Top 100 designations. Aromas of berry fruit and herb citrus notes. On the palate cherry and blackberry with orange citrus, spice and toasty oak notes. Fine earthy tannins, lingering ending with earthy mineral notes.

The wine's color (2015) is a shade of brown.. feels oxidized and taste burnt.. I wonder I am drinking a damaged bottle (as compare to the average price, this was about half the price!)

Very light. Drinkable, but not very fun. Short finish. Drinks like a $15 bottle of wine, not $25.

Sweet flavors of strawberry and raspberry on the nose. Burgundy or Piemonte like light iron red color. Packing a lot of fruit throughout but very soft tannins. Young still, not sure if it will have earthy flavors as it ages.

Light body. Going down well with pre Thanksgiving apps.

Bought this thinking it was the 2013 which had good reviews. Big mistake. This is more like a Merlot. A bad Merlot. If you hold the wine up, it’s really transparent. Think step up from grape juice. Super watered down as though it hasn’t been fermented enough. What more is there to say. Should come in a sippy cup
