Nice bricking. Spicy aroma. Wood spice, cedar, some pyrazines, red fruit on the palate, but aging out quickly. Sharpness and harsh tannins that will unfortunately never integrate gracefully.

2006. An amazing year in Barolo and apparently and amazing year in Alto Piemonte. This was beautiful after just 40 mins in a decanter. Last glass was sheer elegance.

Lean and tight. A beautiful example of the region. Good balance of fruit, savory notes, various spices. However, all of that aside I’m just not sure if it’s worth the price.

2022/3/31 with mole chichito. It took a minute to open but there were roses, strawberry coulis, bitter cherries and salty minerality in store. Pretty dang good.
