2013 Anton Bauer Roter Veltliner - a fun alternative to their Gruner lineup. Great Thanksgiving white

Moderate tannins with light body; black cherries; some roasted red pepper

Bright dark garnet/light ruby color. Aromas of red berry/cherry fruit, fresh herbs and delicate spice. Abundant red cherry and raspberry fruit on the palate. Additional notes of blueberries, roasted vegetables, milk chocolate, black pepper and baking spices. Medium body and finish. Delicate tannins and soft texture. Nice sipper but could be overwhelmed by heavy foods.

Nice nose, light-bodied and complex taste that lasted. This is the second Austrian Zweigelt I’ve had and found it as good as the best Pinot noirs.

2017. Straightforward fruity red with little tannin served chilled and paired well with Sichuan food.

Delicious and a serious value.

Juicy & fruity Zweilgelt. Not complex. A fun wine to glou glou ,with some friends or family.

Maybe ok for sangria

Nice table red. Cherry, cola nut, and cocoa nibs.

Really low key and light. Easy to drink because the grapes are at the forefront rather than the extraneous tastes.
