Still a little closed, needs some time or significant air but tremendous purity and whole cluster structure, red fruit driven with rose petals, wet earth and leaves, a touch of smoke and stony limestone character aplenty

Continue to be blown away by the QPR on this producer—at 7 years this is so composed and balanced, nice structure, seductive dark fruit and earth elements, easily drinks at the premier cru level

Nose has dried loam, baking spice, mashed ripe black cherry, curry (?) or wet clay pot, interesting nose for sure. A little Gamay-ish at this very youthful stage.

Palate has fresh cherry, slight molasses cookie, charred red pepper, dehydrated/sweetened cranberries, faint saline traits, dehydrated sweet cherries with medium finish and fading acidity after more air time. Decanted 4H at time of notes, continuing to unfold...

Paired to Shakshouka, the spice/heat of the dish worked well with the fruity wine notes. We're always fans of red Burgundy with spicy Asian or Middle East style cuisines.

Honestly, a little too youthful for my pleasure tonight, drink 2025-2030+.

Beautifully made and punches well above the village level. Gorgeous rose petal nose continues on the palate and is wrapped in velvety red cherry and currant, pomegranate, hibiscus, blood orange, plenty of structure to develop further. Wow. Can’t get over how poised and impressive this is at the price point

This is broader on the palate than the ‘16 Les Essards, the result of a riper vintage and predominantly clay terroir. Darker fruit profile. Has had a few years to harmonize so it feels in balance, but still tightly wound.

Dark berries and herbs. Outperforming expectations, though a bit hot on the finish

Drinking well above its price. Tart red berries, forest floor and crisp acidity.
