Medium bodied red, pronounced savory character on nose, some wild cherry, underbrush. Fruitier on the palate though pleasingly racy, faint soft tannins. Really quite nice paired with Fettuccine Alfredo and thick Chicago-style sausage pizza though some vanilla notes in the pairing suggest new oak was utilized to round out this cuvée. Nevertheless, there’s substantial QPR on this #veneto half-decade old wine for $9 at #costco

A really nice wine full of cherry 🍒 on the palate. Perfect with ribeye and Tartiflette and my better half! Cheers! Happy Valentines Day!

Burst of fruit flavor, dark cherry, date, plum, dry and well balanced, pairs well with mature cheese (we enjoyed it with Poacher’s Cheddar), red meat, and pate. Great value for the price point.

This wine has some barnyard on the nose at first whiff. The funk gives way to fruit and chocolate after some time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with tannins evident on the finish. This wine needs some time in the glass to settle down.
