Aug 25th, 2024Fruit comes from the coolest coastal parts of this appellation, linked by the influence of the Pacific’s cool marine air, which delays ripening. Ruby with rich berry fruit, citrus and floral spice. On the palate, strawberry and cherry, tangy, with cedar notes and earthy tones. Bright acidity, soft expressive tannins, long finish ending with mineral and cedar spice. Very nice, drink now & over next 5 years.

Sep 24th, 2020Anderson Valley - a lighter Pinot Noir - on the palate & alc at 13.1% This wine begs to be served with food and is wonderful with my hamburger and gnocchi. Light garnet color with a clear edge tells me i opened this too soon. Delightful, still.

Dec 2nd, 2017At this young stage the defining characteristic is acidity. Dark red fruit and rose petal but in a very light frame. Opened 48hrs and the acidity still overwhelmed the fruit, hoping a short time sideways will help balance things out a bit.

Oct 2nd, 2017Huge - HUGE - fan of their single Vineyard pinots and even he Sonoma - but this one is totally different. Not as fruit forward or lush and more of the earthy side of a Pinot. It actually got better with some time. If you can find them definitely seek out the single Vineyards. This producer is on a roll and you cannot beat the price.
