A warm spring day walking along the Georgia Strait, piles of vibrant yellow sulphur in the distance, listening to Luscious Jackson's 'Naked Eye' on repeat.

Great deep red. Lovely nose. Is tannin forward but has some nice spice to it. Felt complex. Has a hint of oak taste in it. Was decent!

Drink in one go. Doesn't last overnight.

Slumming it in week two out of town but making the best of it with this lovely Niagara Pinot Noir. Bright ruby colour, well rounded, medium bodied. The nose is full of cherry, raspberry, forest floor and toasty oak. The mouth feel is complex and warm, with good texture. The tannins are silky and soft. Great wine, even in a plastic-cup.

“Send me an Angel...” oh wait, already reviewed last year’s Vintage. Same taste notes (light Pinot, cherry, etc.), but maybe a bit more muddled overall— let’s say, it needs a bit more experience before it can distinguish right from wrong.

Angelic light body Pinot. Silky smooth tannins. Cherry lands on the palate first, followed by raspberry. A match made in heaven!

Acidic and alcoholic taste is present- maybe more decanting required? Fruity and good with a meal. Easy drinker.
