Extremely minerally and a bit briny, like oyster nectar. Actually paired well with the oysters I ate. Had to have another glass just to be sure I didn't cross contaminate.

2013v. Pale yellow. Stone fruit (peach, apricot) on the nose and palette. Body is round and a slightly oily, but not as much as many old world/white Rhône blends. Not the most pleasant or versatile flavors. I see why this varietal is often blended with grapes that bring freshness and acidity. 14.1% ABV also throws off the balance a little, as this wine runs a tad hot.

17.5/20 Сложный, красивый аромат с тонами пчелиного воска, мёда и желтых фруктов. Тельное с маслянистой текстурой. Великолепно!
