1300 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Needs at least an hour or three decanting before it starts showing tasty fruit, so be patient. Decent table wine, Cab Sauv character, red fruit -cherry, berry - with white pepper finish. I don’t quite buy the clove and red pepper notes mentioned on the label. Not an extraordinary wine but decent value.

Medium ruby; medium intensity aromas of red fruit, red cherry, red plum, red currant, raspberry, blackberry, savory green herbs, purple flowers; dry, medium plus acid, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, medium intensity flavors consistent with aromas; food wine for the price, well balanced with surprising complexity

Not really much to this one. A bit off on the finish. It's a 2012 and I feel like its prime has already come and gone.

Rich purple. Clay on the nose. Lots of plums. Dry and earthy. Fond memories of visiting the winery and having a tremendous meal and wine pairing while overlooking the Andes.

Middling Malbec

Fine, but a little thin and underdeveloped for my taste.

Chain Bridge Cellars. $12.98. A little fruity. Nice value party wine.

Nose raspberry. The front is Red Nibs which are fresh but the advertised notes of coffee or mint are not present in POV. The middle is thin even metallic and rushes to Welch’s juice finish with a breath of oak. Not worthy of more then $12

Definitely needs quit some time to breathe before its drinkable. The sweetness is too much originally
