A great representation of BdM, but I maybe expected a wee bit more from this producer especially for this vintage. I think it will be fading soon...drink up.

Very concentrated wine. Dark color and great nose of roasted herbs, cherries, earth and tobacco. Nineteen years old and ready to go, drinking great. Think this was Wine Spectator’s wine of the year when released.

1997 brunellos are drinking well. This one seems to have the stuffing to evolve for several more years! Good depth of flavor and long finish.
