Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.

Lots of fresh red fruits on the nose with tobacco leaf, herbs, light oak, wild flowers, vegetables, light barnyard, mushrooms, spices and light earth.

Medium bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with red plums, fresh picked cherries, strawberries, spices, light wood, herbs, green tea, black pepper, earth and light dark chocolates.

Elegant finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very tasty Pinot Noir from Williamette Valley. Nicely balanced with nice complexity, albeit still very young.

This Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is a good quality wine. Easy drinking and made in Burgundian style.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with some air time. The nose becomes more flowery after 45 minutes of airtime.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 8 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. Paired very nicely with the triple cream Brie cheese with wild mushrooms.

100% Pinot Noir grapes were aged for 10 months in (35% new) French Oak barrels.

13.4% alcohol by volume.

Ruby color with aromas of dark red fruits, black tea and herb spice, barrel-aged 10 months in French oak (29% new, 51% neutral, rest in concrete). On the palate flavors of black cherry, blackberry and plum with leather, graphite, black pepper, tea and herb spice. Pronounced soft fine tannins, long finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with fruit, herb, spice and flinty wet stone earthy character. Nice now! Will age a bit!

Dark and brooding for a Pinot. Rich and elegant, with tannin blending seamlessly behind a solid wall of fruit. I don't think this will age long, but that's alright with me because it is lovely right now.

Earthy and complex like the soils it was grown from, light fruit and weight.

Their flagship Pinot which expresses a diverse terroir planted from 10 clones on 46 acres with 18 different soil types. Aromas of berry fruit and floral notes. On the palate cherry, strawberry and ripe raspberry with citrus and cinnamon spice adding toasty notes. Fine soft tannins, lingering ending with mineral notes. Good now but give it some time if you can resist the urge!

An Estate Grown Pinot Noir, Ruby color with sweet red fruit aromas and smoky spice notes. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with tobacco, cacao and earthy spice tones. Smooth tannins with balanced acidity on a complex finish leaves with some lingering oak notes.

Sadly, this was the second bottle of the same wine/vintage opened. Both were in decline. Acid and tannins have left the building. Shame, as I really like this wine.

Cola on the nose and palette. No signs of aging. Tannins are fully integrated. Finish is long and caressing. I love this producer. This Pinot can go toe-to-toe with the best French burgs. God bless America! 😃

Brilliant example of Pinot. Precise, lithe and compact. Deftly balanced on the palette. Tannins are polished, sweet and integrated. Nice interplay of redcurrants , sandalwood and hints of truffle. Love this stuff.
