Alexakis S.A.
Kotsifali Syrah
Sour red fruit, low in tannins but plenty of character. Smooth as silk. The Syrah gave it the backbone it needs to be more than just a good sipping wine. Chilled it to 16-18° C.

Med bodied, pliable, silky, more fruit driven on mid palate but quirky & rustic too. Herbaceous accent fruit & spice. Modest finish. I’m a sucker for these types of wines…

Nov 23rd, 2023First time with this grape. 60% kotsifali and 40% Syrah. Dry but very smooth. Dark fruits. Raisins. Cloves. Great Greek find in Chicago.
