Alessandro Rivetto
Barbaresco Nebbiolo

Velvety texture, elegant and focused. Minty, black and red cherry, anise, cedar. Not simple but almost feels too easy as there's no tension in the wine. Gateway Barbaresco that is good wine, complex and enjoyable.

Aug 9th, 2015Ripe for N. Italy but saved by terrific acidity. Hints of flowers in the aromas. Cassis.

Satin smooth. Tiny whiffs of black licorice and earth.

Really good Nebbiolo, earthy, cedar, and anise primary on the nose and palate, maybe some dark cherry too. Acidity low to mid and tannins mid. Mid to larger bodied. All around solid.
