Funny label. Aromas are epic. Orange and berry sauce. Hint of apple pumice. A lot of rosehip too. Flavors are lovely and true to type. Citrus meets red zinger. Flowers, stone fruits, and Rainer cherries are in spades. — 20 days ago

Opened at 1 PM, started pouring into quite inappropriate glassware at 7PM.
Big shouldered, round, lots of carob hinting at dry cocoa, dark fruits. Tannins well integrated, many of the ‘16’s seem to be. Mouth filling. With protein very very nice. Brisket & lamb. Brown, blue and ochre on the nose and palate. A good number of years left I think.
No hint of over toast or barrel.
