Our first encounter with the Piëmont Region in early 2000’s. Little did we know, but these two very modest brothers wanted to do a bit different from the other traditionalist. Now this wine shows that keeping wine can prove very benificial. All typical barolo characterisation fits on this wine. Lots of roses and tar, leather, herbes. Very silky smooth tanine. Barolo too the max.

Some aged Barolo. Less fruit as expected. Tar, tobacco, leather, strawberry, raspberry. Buon!

Unmistakably barolo. Tar. Roses. Leather. Hints of tart cherry. Ready to go. Don't see this one aging much longer.

Finished the evening with a nicely aged traditional #barolo. Everything beautifully integrated, secondary aromas, smooth tannins. A beauty
