Dark, slightly sweet fruit, really well-framed by a long, acidic, complex finish. I can't remember having a better new world Syrah. (...and I had Alban before the price went through the roof, and a bottle of Henschke Mt. Edelstone. Only Penfolds St. Henri was on this level.)
