Like an old classic dusty library book. Musty dried flowers and fruits. Earthy. Tobacco and spice.

Young Nebbiolo. Quite good. Opening up nicely. And perfect pairing with traditional Gulasch home cooked by Oma.

Classic and accessible, this combines juicy cherry fruit with fragrant flowers and some carbaceous qualities. Wonderful structure, but approachable and open. Lots of elegance and finesse and really delivers with winter stews.

More than I expect from a Nebbiolo, in terms of elegance. I taste red cherries, black cherries, Violet and vanilla. With rough enough tannins to tame all. I dig.

Marc de Grazia selection, imported by Michael Skurnik. This has more guts than many cheap Barolos. Underneath the tough, tight tannins, I suspect there is ripe, sweet fruit and oak, however this is painfully slow to open up. From the towering 2010 vintage, I'm afraid this was opened a couple years early. Potentially great

Lovely easy drinking Nebbiolo. The 2021 is perfectly aged, little tannin, medium bodied, and pairs well with heavier dishes. Very lovely

Excellent Nebbiolo … Light colored, load of cherries with faint notes of pine, eucalyptus, truffle and herbs with large amounts of tannins and acidity … BUT The 2020 proved to be way to immature for a true enjoyable experience around this variety. Still, it is really well balanced in its immaturity. It does lacks presence and substance but a Nice salty finish saves the day.
